Midwest School District

Overcoming Challenges

Project Summary

Slimline Pencil PoleA small school district in a suburb of a Midwest city was approached with the opportunity to place a flag pole on one of the elementary schools in the district,   The principal did not like to the idea of a second flag pole on the property, especially one located at the rear of the school.   While the principal was insistent about not having a flag pole, our team was able to think on our feet and suggest painting the pole to resemble a yellow #2 pencil  in an effort to keep the project alive.   Not only was the principal happy but the school board supported the proposal unanimously.   The carrier was relieved to not have to maintain and change our flags on a regular basis. This type of  creative thinking is what makes Westchester Service great.
