Architectural & Engineering
Our team of wireless network specialists includes structural engineers as well as architects. We design complete solutions for Macrocell, Small Cell, DAS, and other In-Building technologies for companies across the entire United States, no matter how diverse or challenging the site conditions. Planning a program or project on such a large scale may be overwhelming, but having the right team of professionals involved will ensure a successful deployment.
Our A&E services cover all phases of the modern communications network, from A&E drawings, site surveys, and zoning to network audits, compliance and testing. Your project will be managed properly, from the first point of contact right through to completion and execution, thanks to our skilled, experienced A&E team.
Structural Engineering
Technology in wireless networks continues to change as time goes on, but our structural engineers continue to upgrade their training and skills to stay ahead of these challenges. Our licensed structural engineers design monopoles, SST, guyed towers, rooftops, platforms, tower mounts, and antenna concealment for Macrocell, Small Cell, DAS, and other In-Building technologies across the United States.
Our experienced in-house engineers know how important it is that our clients have quick and accurate service, and they work with their own dedicated staff to ensure each project is done to our high-quality standards. When you’re planning a large-scale communications project, our structural engineers will ensure that it’s done on budget, on time, and successfully.
Zoning, Permitting and Utility Coordination
In most cases, when our clients are facing a large-scale program or project, land use is an issue. It is our main priority to get your project up and running in a timely manner, we are invested in helping you navigate through planning and zoning approval. Our team of experts will guide you through the zoning and permit process, from your initial assessment to obtaining a building permit.
Our team has the experience to communicate with power and backhaul providers on your behalf to ensure that power and connectivity are at your project when they need to be.
With our background in land development and our access to excellent real estate lawyers and compliance professionals, our clients appreciate how seamlessly we can help with zoning and permit disputes and issues as well as permitting and utility coordination.

Edge Computing Data Centers and Satellite Gateway Communication Sites
Edge Computing and Satellite Gateway Communication sites are key elements in the future of telecom and they are critical to the unique network infrastructure. At Westchester Services, our team is skilled in filling needs of these sensitive installations. We have the experience to design the site as well as the critical electrical infrastructure that these sites demand. When it comes to Satellite Gateways our engineering team has designed sites throughout the United States.
From shelter architecture, to the critical support foundation of tracking dish, our engineering team knows how to get the job done and will work hand-in-hand with your construction team through the construction documentation and project close-out. We will make sure the project gets done on time and on budget.
Outside Plant and Fiber to Site Engineering
From planning and surveying through engineering and permitting, our team of trained professionals can meet your needs when it comes to Outside Plant Engineering (OSP). With state of the art industry equipment and software we are capable of completing projects from 20 feet to 20 miles. The future of telecom is the highspeed connectivity of Fiber optic cable. From small cell sites, to macro sites and projects where an existing fiber path needs to be reengineered, let Westchester Services’ team of professionals assist you.
Small Cell
As technology is demanded by the consumer, and the need to have the cell site closer to the user is required, small cells have outpaced macro sites and seem to be locating at a 10:1 ration to macro sites. This massive program requires a partner who is attentive to client needs, understands the need for details and accuracy, and above all, understands the pace and need to get to market first. At Westchester Services, our experience with the design of small cell ranges from utility company wood poles, through pole attachments on metal street light standards, to the design of complex aesthetic one off small cell support structures, and more. We understand your needs and make your project a success.
Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) and In-Building Wireless Solutions
While small cell solutions can often cover the streetscape, the need exists to provide seamless wireless coverage indoors as well. Although DAS systems have been in place for several years, as the networks mature, upgrades are necessary. At Westchester Services our primary design professional is an Architect who has numerous years of expertise with building construction, fire codes and other specialties a traditional telecom design engineer often lacks. Our design team has the ability to survey and map an existing structure and provide a detailed plan of existing assets. Working hand in hand with your RF engineer, we can develop a new plan to expand the network in-building, or on a campus. We are also able to take an RF plan and “fit” it to the existing structure and change cable and wiring path to ensure an accurate, buildable cost-effective design solution.
